C. B. Lane

Carolyn Barlow Lane, Vice President



Carolyn came to Storke Funeral Home as a Monument Sales Person in 1994 after owning and operating the Bowling Green Western Auto Associate Store for 20 years.
In May of 1998 Carolyn graduated Summa Cum Laude from John Tyler Community College and in 1999 became a Licensed Funeral Director in the State of Virginia.
In December, 2001 she graduated Cum Laude from Averett University as well as obtained the position of Vice President for Storke Funeral Service, Inc.
 Carolyn was one of the founding members of the Caroline County Chamber of Commerce and is the Assistant Treasurer and member of Bowling Green Baptist Church.
 In December, 2002, Carolyn became the Treasurer for the Bowling Green Rescue Squad.
G. Smithers

Gordon Smithers



Mr. Smithers has been with Storke Funeral Services since the late 1950's. He retired as the local manager for GTE and is a WWII Army veteran. Mr. Smithers currently serves as a Deacon for Calvary Baptist Church.
P. Patton

Paul Patton



Mr. Patton has been employed with Storke Funeral Home since 1992. He retired from the Naval Surface Warfare Center as an Ordinance Equipment Mechanic after 30 years. Formerly chief of the Port Royal Volunteer Fire Department he is currently a member of the Board of Directors and a lifetime member of the Port Royal Fire Department. Additionally, Mr. Patton is a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a Deacon of Calvary Baptist Church.
G. Spaulding

George Spaulding


Mr. Spaulding has been employed with Storke Funeral Home part-time since 1994. He is a retired teacher, football coach, and athletic director at Caroline High School. He is a current member of the Caroline County School Board and a former member of Bowling Green Town Council. Mr. Spaulding is a Deacon at Calvary Baptist Church.
L. Dillard

Luther Dillard



Mr. Dillard has been employed part-time with Storke Funeral Home since 1990. He retired from GTE and currently works for Rappahannock Electric Cooperative.
M. Upshaw

Margarette Upshaw



Mrs. Upshaw has been employed with Storke Funeral Home since 1980 as an organist/pianist. She, additionally has been a long-time organist/pianist at Shiloh United Methodist Church. Mrs. Upshaw is active in her family's agriculture business.
A.Hayes

Audie Hayes


Mr. Hayes has been employed with Storke Funeral Home since 2005. He retired from Safeway after 30 years. He is a life-long resident of Caroline, a Deacon at Carmel Baptist Church and a Life Member of the Ladysmith Volunteer Rescue Squad.
Raye Dawson

Raye Dawson


Raye Dawson has been employed at Storke Funeral Home since May 2006. In 2004, she retired as a Field Engineering Representative at Rappahannock Electric Coop. She is currently an active member of Caroline Chapter # 174 OES.
Ivy Spicer

Miss Spicer has been employed with Storke Funeral Home since June 2007. She graduated from Germanna Community College and is attending University of Mary Washington. Ivy is majoring in Historic Preservation
P. Marmaduke

Phyllis Marmaduke



Faithful to the end 1933 - 2007


Mrs. Marmaduke had been employed as a receptionist at Storke Funeral Home since August, 1996. In 1995 she retired from the position of service department dispatcher at Rappahannock Electric Cooperative. She remained active with the Bowling Green Volunteer Fire Department until 2007.
